IP Test - Bandwidth test 1.2.2

This application provides a platform for testing IP connectivity and throughput between a mobile device and a remote server.

User Guide

Download Test

• Enter the HTTP URL from which to download data.

Upload Test

1. On the target device, launch an application capable of accepting TCP and UDP traffic on a specified port (for example, port 4242). This application should discard received data to prevent CPU limitations from affecting bandwidth measurement.
   • For example, on the target device, you can execute: # while :; do nc -l -p 4242 > /dev/null; done
2. On the testing device, input the destination address (for example, 192.168.1.254:4242) and press 'Connect'.
3. The testing device will begin transmitting data to the designated destination.

Options

• Specify payload size: options include 5MB, 20MB, 50MB, or random sizes up to a maximum of 500MB.
• Enable loop mode to repeat tests continuously.
• Set a delay interval between successive tests.
• Retrieve UDP throughput data reported on a port adjacent to the TCP port (for example, port 4243 if using 4242).
• The device can vibrate in case of transfer failure (zero bytes per second).
• Allow simultaneous UDP traffic alongside TCP traffic, with configurable packet rate per second.
